Our Instructors

Safari Guides

We understand our swim lessons are only as good as our instructors. Our dedicated instructors are carefully selected for their enthusiasm, energy, and experience with children. We place a lot of emphasis on training and developing our staff to become top-tier swim professionals.

This involves:

  • A minimum of 35 hours of training under a Swimming Safari Master Instructor.
  • Successful completion of comprehensive in-water and out-of-water instructor exams.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification for infants, children, and adults through The American Red Cross.
  • Active participation in ongoing education, including personal and group training, seminars, and international conferences.

From our roots teaching in community pools and backyards to today, our staff remains steadfast as role models, ensuring the finest instruction quality.

We embrace a commitment that extends beyond swimming. As you step through our doors, warm greetings and smiles await you. We continuously invest in enhancing the teaching experience with innovations like platforms and fun cling-ons for a more immersive learning journey. With over 48,000 children taught annually, our specialized curriculum empowers each swimmer to build confidence and achieve their aquatic goals while mastering life-saving skills.

Swimming Safari has provided a wonderful experience for my son to enjoy the pool year round. The instructors are very loving, understanding, and knowledgeable as to what each individual child needs and how he/she learns. Swimming Safari has embraced my autistic son and shown me a willingness to work with all children, weather they have delays or are typical developers. Swimming Safari is wonderful and we plan to continue classes indefinitely.
